Bought for my son to use for his first year at school. Overall in lovely condition however one thing to note is that the battery doesn’t hold its charge If fully charged he could prob get about 1 hour before needing to out back on the charger. Works perfectly if used on the charger. See status of battery service required Comes with box. I don’t know anything about MacBooks it’s was a requirement for first year at school and is no longer needed. Will be factory reset
