This macbook was owned by a friend so i don't know it's entire usage history but it was handed to me to refurb and have fitted a new kayuren battery, new feet and replaced the cable on the charger as it was cracked and peeling all over, i have done a few charge cycles on the battery as that is what the instructions said to do. The anti glare coating was bad so i removed what remained of it with white vinegar but the screen looks perfectly fine and i have used it for a few days now watching YouTube in a decently lit room with no problem. overall the macbook is fine, it's the lower spec i5 pro with only 8gb ram that's soldered to the board so there's not really any upgrade potential but for simple use is still okay and with a new battery it should last a new user a good while
