Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I had high expectations for my new gaming laptop, especially considering I'd opted for a higher-end model with an RTX5070Ti and Intel Ultra 7 HX processor. The moment I unwrapped it, however, I knew the extra weight would be noticeable - it's indeed quite large. Despite that, my first impressions were positive: this is definitely a big and heavy laptop, but I'd anticipated as much given my desire for more power in a gaming rig. Overall performance was impressive, with all my games running smoothly even at high settings.

The keyboard was pleasant to type on, despite being an IPS panel - although the color and contrast could be better, it's not a major issue for me. The display itself fares no worse: while I wasn't expecting much from a 330w PSU, this one certainly provides enough juice for everything I throw at it, including the CPU and graphics fans. However, the power draw is higher than I expected, especially with the HX processor - which, as it turns out, requires more cooling to function optimally.

Despite some minor drawbacks, such as a poorly performing SSD (512GB) and limited RAM options (only 16gb), I'm overall very pleased with my purchase. The lack of AI pricing on these components was disappointing at first, but the current price - £1450 for everything - seems reasonable considering what I've gotten.

The HX processor is undoubtedly a powerhouse, outperforming even my desktop in some benchmark tests (an i9 14900k). Having an RTX5070Ti is also a significant upgrade: it provides a similar experience to a higher-end model, but at a lower price point. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this laptop and would highly recommend it as a great value for gaming enthusiasts on a budget - just be aware of potential future price hikes due to supply chain issues.

I was blown away by this laptop's insane performance - I love its sleek design and vibrant screen colors, which are really making my life easier than expected.

The fans on the bottom get a bit loud when it's running at full capacity, but that's just part of the package, right? If those pesky fans aren't roaring to life, I'm basically snoring - it's all good!

One thing to note: some people have complained about the laptop getting hot in certain situations, which can be a bit annoying. But let me tell you, if there's one thing that really matters here, it's this laptop's overall performance - and trust me when I say it delivers on that front.

I've got my fingers crossed that it'll make all the difference in gaming performance, but with multi-frame generation on the cards, I'm getting around 150 frames per second in every game - which is pretty sweet.

The build quality looks solid to me, and the screen is a nice touch. However, there's one major flaw: fans are absolutely ear-piercingly loud.

I've also been surprised by how underwhelming my storage options have been - an 16 GB RAM is woefully inadequate for this price range and even more so with games that require multi-threading to get the most out of them.
